Backpacking Through Italy

Cinque Terre was a stop where we could relax from our busy travels. We swam in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, walked through the quaint streets, enjoyed a boat ride to the other towns and slept. The water, sunshine and delicious food gave us a boost for our next adventure.

Backpacking Through Europe Part III

Switzerland is one of my favorite countries to visit! You just can't beat their incredible chocolate, comfy beds, cleanliness, organization and of course their amazing landscapes! If you've never been to the Alps I would highly recommend marking that high on your Bucket List.

This visit consisted of watching parasailer's and enjoying a fabulous spa in Interlaken. Then taking a train, tram and one more train up the Alps to a little village called Murren, where we hiked while admiring the magnificent mountains said hi to the local cows.

Backpacking Through Europe Part II

Meet the Bihler's from Germany. They are the most kind, caring, fun and loving family! Their son Bertram, also known as Bert was a foreign exchange student who came and lived with my family for awhile in Utah when I was little. He is like an older brother to me so when we were able to visit him and his family, it was a very happy reunion! Bert and the lovely Sabrina had a beautiful boy together named Moritz. Spending the day with them in their home in Switzerland was a highlight of our trip. Hugs and tears were shared when we had to say goodbye to continue on our trip.
