Backpacking Through Europe Last Stop

Dubrovnik, Croatia was our last and final stop in Europe. We had an incredible backpacking trip and were so lucky to end it on a high note. Although Dubrovnik can be quite touristy we were able to make friends with the locals and found out how to avoid the crowds. We took a fantastic kayak trip, journeyed out to a nearby island that was so peaceful and learned about the history filled city.

I'm so grateful for my adventurous mother who reminds me to let go of my fears, explore, try new things and never stop learning! It's okay to be lost every now and then because you never know when you are going to run into something beautiful, a quaint restaurant or a new friend. My big sis teaches me to be myself, love others and doubt less. Travel can do amazing things for the soul! From strengthening relationships to creating new ones, you can learn a lot about yourself as well as others. You can realize that although the world is surrounded by different cultures who may talk, eat and dress differently, they all believe in the importance of family, friends, love, laughter, faith and hope.

Backpacking Through Croatia

Croatia blew me away! We were fortunate to take a mini road trip down the coast of Croatia and into the mountains. Croatia was one of our favorite places to visit with it's breath taking scenery, incredible outdoor adventures, amazing seafood and to our surprise some of the most wonderful people we came across.

Backpacking Through Venice

We had day and a half in Venice so we tried to make the most out of our time. I put on some classical musical and peacefully strolled through St Mark's Basilica. We made a quick visit to the colorful island called Burano. If we had more time I could have painted for hours there.
